Over 90 something % of the pledges in First Circle are from the south. DDD's pledges are mainly from AL, GA and North FL. As far as I know, the new pledges in First Circle from outside of the south have very strong southern roots. For example, their parents/grandparents are from the south, or the girls were originally from the south and their families moved away due to jobs, etc...

My daughter is from the Midwest and has no southern connections, yet got a bid from a First Circle house. She must be the exception that proves the rule.

I understand anyone can go on this site, but parents should remember that calling out the fact that they are parents, and then mentioning or hinting at their kids GLO is embarrassing to that entire organization.. .

It's also a reason why some sororities are reluctant to take girls from outside of the south, because many not from this region clearly do understand the culture of the South.

By high number from outside of the south you must mean like 4 or 5. Considering these are the biggest PC in UA's history, that is not many at all. In fact, it's almost even less than in the past when you consider the total number of girls in each PC. And the above post is correct, like 90 something % are from the south, and the ones who aren't mainly have family who are.

I know two of the girls who got bids to TriDelt and they are beautiful/smart/funny, something any sorority would want and thats why they got a bid.
