There are no 'safety options' in recruitment. Any option you are given has amazing potential for you. And the option is definitely given to you, not the other way around. This is not like college selection where you pick where to apply, with a reach and a realistic and a safety, and then choose among acceptances; you 'apply' to every house and the process will get you down to the one and only house that will offer you 'admission' if you fit with them.

Those two houses are highly sought after for some girls... do not refer to those sororities as “safeties”. I’m not sure where you fall short... maybe looks? grades? connections? distance? For each of those, there are houses who are somewhat known for falling short in those categories. For example, if you are a beauty queen with a 3.0 you are more likely to get asked back by the “looks” houses with lower grades, while you could be a 4.0 girl who isnt the prettiest, but you might get asked back by more of the “grades” houses. Dont get it twisted, though- every house has every type of girl; INCLUDING alpha phi and gamma phi. You’ll end up where you belong.

There are no safety options.

There’s no safety houses at Bama. Both of those are good houses. Both houses drop hundreds of girls.
