If you are a dancer....there are tons of them in Zeta and Pi Phi. Also, I know a dancer who WAS a chi o. Also, Phi Mu, Zeta and several other sororities have both, cheerleaders and crimsonettes including AXO, APhi and tons of others. I'd say it's to your advantage....they are usually pretty sought after so they get their top pick of top tier houses.

sororities want girls who are involved and can represent their sorority well. If you're an athlete it will look better overall, shows dedication and what not, as long as you can budget your time between both as well as school

That's what I meant. Those sports require more hours than dance or cheerleading in general

Sororities DEF want these girls, if they are able to rush. Sometimes it’s not about the girl being able to handle but it’s an unwritten rule or flat out rule from the coaches, especially for the Olympic (real sports sports besides cheer/dance etc which are extremely athletic and the girls are athletes but don’t play SPORTS) sports

if you're those. Being on the rowing team/basketball team is a little different. It just depends on the sport.
