No bid here either. I've written off OR but I'm hoping rush events will at least get me a bid from a NR house. Honestly, I can't tell you how difficult it is not knowing someone already in a house or having some kind of connection.

OR tend to be very legacy based and referral based from certain geographic locations. In regards to NR, you have to ask yourself how did you present yourself? If you came across like you really wanted OR, that you were waiting on OR then NR houses will tell you to take a hike.

It is your job to sell yourself how you will be a good addition to their house, to say you got no bids from any house when they are several that will slap a pledge pin on you the moment you walk in the door says you came off like a ahole. Just like OR most of the better NR are selective on who they bid.

All the Jefferson houses have chill guys and are more receptive to guys they don’t know. Just make sure they’re not on social probation and you’ll have a fun semester
