How did DG, DZ, and AOP manage to do so poorly this year? Theta has an excuse with no house and Aphi had all the scandals but I’d say they still did way better in the overall looks department compared to the houses I placed below them. What happened?

You are crazy. DG DZ and AOPI did well. I don't know what pics you are looking at. Some of the houses need to work on their social media for sure especially some OR and some NR need to keep it classy. But this whole pledge class is good looking.

this sounds like a gamma phi self ranker... because not gonna lie, gamma phi always has their fair share of not so good looking girls.
aopi and theta did well this year, i know theta got a few girls that alpha gam was rushing hard which is surprising. dg did okay too, but not as well as everything was expecting which is kind of disappointing because i was personally rooting for them. and dz just bombed this year which was SO weird considering they literally just unveiled their new house.
BUT to rank houses from insta pics is ridiculous lol. there are some houses who have a lot of girls who are really into social media and will bend over backwards just to get a good pic while other houses have a lot of girls who couldn't care less about lighting and angles.

lol to me sounds more like a zta self ranker... the only ones to judge off of insta haha. . Also theta and dz and dg all had to take HUGE pc’s

DZ's been on the slide for years now. They have had to do COB for the last few years to make quota, they made quota plus this year, but took women they would have cut earlier on. They realized they were going to have to accept where they are now if they were going to finally make quota. They had slid below Gamma Phi to the bottom of the bottom.
Alpha Phi's shadiness finally caught up with them and they had to "lower" their standards this year, which means they might actually have some nice girls who will make decent grades.

Does anyone else find this whole thing the opposite of woke? Placing girls into categories based on their popularity and looks feels like something we should have evolved from by now. Not to mention what no bid or a "lesser" house bid does to self-worth and self-esteem.

Y’all are f-ing crazy.
Many instas are private, etc.
So you got to go to the house Insta, click on a few actives pages that are public, make an assessment of who they are with. Most of which haven’t posted pics with new Pnms.
So at best you are basing this off a VERY limited view. Let alone the Insta world of looks and edited reality.
This is just ridiculously stupid. Preconceived. Biased. Bull crap.

I was surprised by some of the girls I saw getting alpha phi bids. They definitely didn’t have the typical alpha phi “look”. I hope this means that the girls will be nice and have good grades, but honestly I’m worried the older PCs will be mean to the girls they think make the house less hot.
