The predominant "image" of these three chapters is so totally different that you're going to get very different answers. Low-key in-state girls who are chill will probably prefer Chi O over Phi Mu. OOS girls who are conscious of their refined image and are a bit more type A will prefer Phi Mu. In-state girls who love to have fun will probably prefer KD. That doesn't make any of these chapters good or bad, it just means they won't be competing for many of the same girls. If you have to debate between these, you can't go wrong but you should go with where you truly see yourself, not what some rando on this site says.

I actually preffed this combo of houses, which a lot of people find weird bc they all have pretty different reps! I landed in my first choice but could have been perfectly happy in any of these houses.
Some nice things about each house:
Chi o: very down to earth! Really competitive in sorority competitions, very good grades and involvement. Low key but still have fun!
Phi Mu: so polished and put together! Great presence on campus and good grades. The girls are beautiful but have substance, too!
KD: so laid back and fun! Very stylish and less like your average sorority girl (less bubbly, more funny/sarcastic). Awesome philanthropy and good grades

Totally depends on you. I have friends in all three.
Phi Mu:
Prissy; big emphasis on clothes, hair and makeup, very involved, stylish
Chi O:
Also very involved, but girls are more chill, trendy, “boho” vibe, low drama, high grades
KD:
More of a party house, less involved on campus than the other two, emphasis on who your family is

XO and KD are very similar. Laid back, chill, however you want to describe then. They cross rush a lot and girls in both houses are friends.
Phi Mu is more into appearance. I think a good way to look at it is Phi Mus would rather party at a martini bar and XOs and KDs would rather be at a keg party. Does that make sense?
I saw a good description on this site - say you’re at a pool party. If a Phi Mu gets pushed in the pool she’s going to be mad. If a XO or a KD get pushed in she’s going to laugh and then push her friends in too.
I’m in a NR house but I think XOs and KDs are more fun and less pretentious than Phi Mus.

Agree with all but I would say KD is a lot more trendy clothing wise than chi o. Chi o is also pretty religious , I would add that
