Yes. what was your GPA? If below a 3.5 some houses consider you a grade risk. Keep your chin up and focus on the houses you have left. You will be happy in any house!

You were amazing. You were perfect. We had to cull the lists to get from 2,400 to 300 by the weekend somehow. It might be your grades or you didn't know people in the house. The girls you talked to me not have been our top girls so they didn't have a lot of pull. We may love you but didn't think you were the best fit for us. It may be your hometown or state or your activities just didn't mesh with ours. We let you go so you can find your perfect fit. You can only go to one house and we helped you realize that ours isn't the best place.

Yes, you did have awesome conversations and connected, but since that is what every women in recruitment is trying to achieve, so did a lot of other women. Perhaps they had a higher GPA, or they were a legacy, or had a friend in the house. Everyone got cut from houses where they had great connections. Read How to Have a Great Recruitment thread.

Let these houses go and focus on the awesome houses you have left. Keep making those great connections and you will land in a wonderful house.

if we're doing our job as actives in recruitment, every PNM should feel comfortable with us and leave loving us. We probably really enjoyed talking to you, but we also enjoyed talking to 1000 other women and we had to make significant cuts. It's not on you as there are a bunch of factors that come into making our decisions.

Also, you only spent 20 minutes talking to the women in the chapters you have left so don't write them off based on that.
