If I drop, can I still do COB (continuous open bidding) in the fall? Asking because I did not get any houses I liked!

Houses that dropped you after IWT are not going to COB you. Let that idea go. If you didn't get any houses you liked then what makes you think they will choose you COB? You are setting yourself up for GDI life.

Give the houses that wanted to know you more a chance. You lose nothing by giving them a try and getting excited about what is on your card instead of worrying about the houses not on your card. If you can't find a group in houses as amazing as ours then the group is not the problem. There are no weak or poor houses here. If you didn't see that in IWT then you weren't looking hard enough.

I’m asking cause it wasn’t because of me, I had great conversations I’m asking because my grades weren’t good in high school.

If your HS grades were not good I would concentrate on transitioning to college and not rushing. Pledging takes time and energy. You should be studying and working on getting your degree. It is why you are here. If your grades are NOT poor but just on the lower end, the above advice stands. It is highly unlikely that a house will COB someone who voluntarily they released (not below national cut off). If you have houses that are willing to give you a chance to get to know you even if you are a risk, why are you not willing to give them a chance? You don't lose anything by continuing and seriously giving the other houses a chance. Look around. Everyone PNM and active is beautiful, friendly, involve, and smart. You will be lucky to be in any of the houses not thinking on a few are worthy of you. Look at the houses still on your list. They have hundreds of awesome beautiful women who have invited you back to give you another chance.

Check the cob snap bid thread it will give you all the answers. You spend like 15 minutes at these houses. Give them a chance!! Next round may be a completely different experience. If you drop you will most likely regret it.

If you get released from all houses study hard, get your grades up and rush as a sophomore. Your high school gpa is something you can’t change so your options will be really limited if any.

It is hard to take you seriously when these houses really are some of the biggest and best houses in the nation, providing the best social experience you can get, and you say you don't like what is left on your card. ALL houses at BAMA are fantastic!! If you can not believe you will find friends among 400 members, then it is you, not the house, because they are all are pretty much the same.

PNMs do not count on COB. Go to the spring grade report and look at the new members for each house...those are the COB numbers taken in the spring and they are tiny. If you drop, you will most likely be sitting in your dorm room as a GDI.

Go with the house you get, dive in and make the most of it. You do not have to join until initiation, so you need to get as involved as you possible can to give the house that valued you more than any other house, a chance to impress you. If you try your hardest, you will have such an awesome time. Don't forget, everyone is a little uncomfortable in their new house at first as you are all strangers. Reach out, join in everything offered, and you will look back and laugh at your post later.
