Thanks! That is kind of what I was thinking! So you are a legacy if mom was a member no matter what chapter? Does it better your chances of being kept longer if mom was a member of the particular chapter you are rushing? Sorry for all the questions. My mom even though she was in a sorority and was active all 4 years apparently can't remember anything. She came through rush out of state, with no rec's, no ties, and at the last minute and landed right where she wanted so she doesn't get all this preparing you have to do know. Love my mom but seriously she doesn't get it and thinks recruitment is like it was back in the early 90's.

Mom with a chapter that is not alabama is legacy and helpful but not as good as alabama chapter.

She did go to Alabama. Not sure that’ hers willl be my choice just really nervous coming from out of state with no real connections.

There is no way to know how it will go for you as a legacy. Legacies are released all the time, and if this happens to you it will most likely be after second round. If your legacy house takes you to pref you will 9.9/10 get that bid if you rank them first, but you should double check that policy with your legacy national.

For you, legacy is not an issue to keep you out of a house. It would only help you if you want the legacy house
