by: ??Is the interior of AOpis house even completed? There's like no pictures of the inside do you think it's because its not done? DZ posts so many photos of the inside on their facebook page and it looks beautiful so why wouldn't AOPi try to compete and show it off

The inside of DZ is way prettier. They gray in AOPi literally kills me and none of the rooms flow in their color schemes or how they are decorated. Neither really have any furniture but I guess that’s what happens when you spend all your money just on the building of the house. I’m also not a fan of the concrete on the front of the house, same with ZTA’s.

Aopi’s is pretty but there is a ton going on in every single room. Like a ton. Seems like they tried to pull a Phi Mu/KD but went a little overboard. I think the wall detailing makes it worse especially in the room with the mirrors on the wall. Hopefully it ages well.
Also @well the lack of furniture is just for rush. We have all our foyer and dining room furniture moved out every year.

I’m in a different house that was built several years ago.... thought that was obvious. Yes, we move the furniture out and back in every year depending on what the rush chair wants. I was saying that’s probably why there’s no furniture in those rooms, they are waiting until rush is over to move it in.

Idk if anyone else thinks this but I like the outside of DZs house better (columns, covered back patio) but the inside of AOIIs is SO MUCH nicer. DZs has a comfy, homey vibe but AOIIs is way more elegant. Also their location is better on colonial right by BD. But all sororities are close so that doesn’t matter as much. Good luck to both groups during recruitment!!

The DZ House is beautiful! There are some very special details they have added dealing with the sorority symbols that I think is very touching.
