What length should dresses be for pref? Is it okay if a dress if form-fitting but not bodycon?

As long as it is not short-short. Would you wear it to church, or a wedding, or a nice dinner out with your parents? If so, then you are good. If you would wear it clubbing then no.

If you want to be on the top of their bid list don’t give them a reason to move you lower like dressing in anything that “pulls” when you wear it or you can’t bend over to pick something up.
