black dress for rush

for a pnm rushing would it be a bad idea to wear a black dress on sisterhood day or should I stay away from the color?

you can wear a black dress for any of the days. as someone above said, it's extremely hot and black absorbs heat so it may not be the best option but if you have a black dress you really like then go for it. however i do want to mention that a lot of pnms will be wearing colorful sundresses, especially on IWTs and sisterhood. and at that, im pretty sure none of the actives are allowed to wear black on those days either. but all in all, if the dress is cute and appropriate the color/pattern doesnt really matter.

I wouldn’t recommend it. Go for something pretty and classy. I feel like sundresses in shades of yellows, pinks or blues tend to look really nice. People wear white and black I just personally wouldn’t recommend that.
