what makes pi phi so great

pi phi is kind of lowkey but in a good way whereas aopi is lowkey but in a bad way. pi phi has a pretty decent and clean reputation and they're not in your face, unlike their counterpart zeta. they have decent grades which gives them the one up on zeta. and they're decently involved. overall their girls are generally quality, a lot of oos girls but they're generally put together and low drama... now that i think of it, I've never really heard of any drama from pi phi and i know a handful of them.

i think what really sets them apart is their social life. a lot of pi phi's hang out with guys in respectable frats and those frats seem to really like them, whereas dg and aopi struggle in garnering a lot of positive attention from those same frats.

another thing that sets them apart is pi phi has the upper hand over dg and aopi (and debatably even zeta). pi phi has their pick of girls and they have the ability to fight for who they want whereas dg and aopi fight over the best of the leftover girls.

throughout the years pi phi has pulled a lot more better looking quality pnms than other NR houses but I do agree last years pc was a bit mixed I feel like they will have a strong rush this year with their new house after being off the row but we will see

It may be hard for you to believe but there is a huge difference between a 3.58 and a 3.44 (actually 7 houses in between)

Let's also mention that these houses gave out spring COBs. Which I think is based off how many members you got in your fall PC.

I agree that this site hypes up Pi Phi way too much and they just don't have anything to back it up with. They say they are a big party house but then give ZTA and APhi heck for being one too.

I see more Pi Phis at Old Row frats than any other New Row house. They have a laid back reputation but are still involved on campus. I feel like they get topic pick of quality girls that get dropped by Old Row but are still too good for ZTA or DG.

I think it depends on where you are from. I would say they get the least amount of in-state girls/ neighboring states like GA, MS, FL compared to ZTA and ADPi but they get some really cute girls from the Midwest. Cali I would say is more ZTA but they get a few. These three houses definitely get their pick of the NR girls and actually cross rush a good bit because of that. No idea what their look is on legacies/ how many come through. They are a house that I don't hear many girls going through saying they are a legacy too. They definitely get their type of girl but its really hard to describe that unless you have gone through rush in the past 4 years. I don't think they are as high as some of the ranks here put them though. I would say they are on the same level as AGD, ZTA, ADPi but all get a different type of girl going through rush so it's just where you fit in the best personality wise.

the main reason they are grouped above other NR houses is based on reputation. In past years houses like dg, theta, and aop have struggled with their reputation. While pi phi’s has remained a nuetral to positive one. Because of that guys do like them better. They seem to have a better swap schedule than other NR houses. Other than that they are the same. I agree with a post above that their recent pledge classes have been average at best, very mixed girls. Grades have dropped. This tells me if they don’t have a great pledge classes they may see adp, dg, or aop above them soon.

They're strong nationally, get more social and better looking girls than the rest of NR but who aren't as flashy and more chill than Zeta and Alpha Phi. Decent grades too.
