aopi vs adpi

I am a junior and in neither house. To me, ADPi is a little more party and a little more academic. AOII is more low key “sweet” girls. Both are great options.

aopi is a solid bottom tier house... no hate but every house has a place.

the biggest difference between adpi and aopi is that adpi has the upper hand during rush. adpi is more on par with pi phi, those two houses go after well rounded pnms who fell through higher ranked houses... and they usually get the girls they want... whereas aopi doesn't have the upper hand, they take the best they can get.

in my opinion, adpi is more similar to dg and theta. aopi is more similar to dz.

both are houses a lot of girls into rush not wanting but aren't that upset if they are left with not "bad" but not "great" not as relevant on campus but again it could be worse

I am a soph in an OR. I had both ADPi and AOII through sisterhood. Really liked them both and both are under-rated for sure.

They both have the same "type" kind of but different quality. Generally quiet and more academic girls. The difference is ADPi has a bit more history and prestige both here and in surrounding Southern states they are pretty strong. So you'll get some some legacies and more interest from OOS. A lot of girls who didn't make AXO or some who didn't AGD will end up at ADPi. AOPi has girls who fell through OR and ADPi.

there seem to be a lot of aopi self rankers on this thread. aopi is a solid bottom tier house. they, like other lower ranked houses, struggle immensely to solidify quality and consistent pledge classes. they're not really similar to adpi in my opinion, adpi is more of a sporty/smart/fun house... aopi doesn't really have a set type. a lot of people consider aopi as an alternative greek experience because of how under the radar they are.

imo ADPi has more of a sweet/ fun but not crazy partiers/ sporty vibe and AOPi is more of a nice but kind of shy or bland vibe. ADPi is more popular during rush so they get to be more selective, AOPi is the bottom tier house for quieter girls.
