In my house, we practice conversations and how to pick up our PNM’s and how we switch out within our groups. If we have girls we really like coming through, we do take their pics and blow them up. We also talk them up in our groups so we can make sure our favorites get moved to the next round! However, it is up to our leads from each area ( they are our most respected girls in the house who are selected by recruitment team) to make sure these girls we want have their recs in ( or ask for them from alums in the building) and that they make our GPA cut off. We can talk a girl up all we want, but it’s our leads that have the final say. So, if you’re being introduced to an upperclassman, be classy and be aware. They are probably a lead.

See that’s so interesting because my house doesn’t have “leads”. If I introduce a PNM to someone else in the house, it doesn’t mean anything significant other than I thought they might get along or that sister was near by or maybe I needed to pass her off so I could go handle a feminine issue. This is all just to say that PNMs should take whatever they hear with a grain of salt, since what happens in once House means nothing in another.
