the houses everyone wants to get rid of (no shade)

hey. this isn’t a “ranking” exactly, it’s more just which houses most PNMs try to get rid of all week. that’s not to say these houses aren’t wonderful and their members aren’t beautiful, intelligent, lovely people, bUT for whatever reason, PNMs do not wish to return. Also, the houses each PNM ranks lower is obviously different for everyone. This is just what I observed the majority opinion to be. also, these are houses that girls just couldnt seem to shake off— so, the house wanted the PNM, but the PNM did NOT want the house.
without further ado:
1. Theta—the average PNM for the last few years has been desperate to get rid of Theta. An old, small house, along with a less than stellar rush, makes most PNMs eager not to return. However, at the same time, there are girls who LOVE Theta and think their old house was adorable! It will be interesting to see if their massive new house plans make a difference in rush this yr!
2. DZ—again, most PNMs try to get rid of DZ. They also had an old house, awkward rush. I will say that there are plenty of PNMs who would MUCH rather be a Theta than a DZ. When I went through recruitment, I thought I would rather be a DZ, but now that I actually know people in each sorority, I think I would fit in better at Theta. DZ is a fun group, and new house is massive!
3. AOPi—just forgettable. having an old house has hurt them, interested to see how they will do with new house plans!! other than that, I think they tend to put on a more awkward rush, similar to DZ and Theta. A lot of PNMs love AOPi too— a girl in my group told me she was preffing AOPi, Alpha Chi, and Phi Mu—and she said AOPi was her top choice. really a genuine and lovely group of girls!
I will add that there is a fair share of girls who can’t get rid of Alpha Phi fast enough, but I’m not sure that it’s the MAJORITY of PNMs. this could change this year.

Every AOPi I’ve ever met has never put AOPi first.. (not trying to throw shade) but I know girls who have put KD, DDD, etc first and ended up with AOPi. Either means the girls probably shouldn’t have gotten through to those houses or AOPi is scooping up some quality PNMs

im not sure why people have to say stuff like this. like what do you gain from taking 10 minutes out of your day to write a post that basically degrades other houses. i know you said "no shade" but what was your intention with this post then? i find it hard to believe that you genuinely believe this is useful content for pnms. your agenda with this post is obvious and rude.
there's a niche for everyone, there are tons of girls who love theta, aopi, and dz. just like there are tons of girls who hate sororities who claim they have the highest return rates. all this post does is make people feel bad about their house because YOU think that everyone is just dying to get rid of it.

i know a lot of people who put them first. Over PM, Alpha Gam, and several other houses. I put them before the house I'm in now (I'm happy where I ended up, I don't think now that I would belong in AOPI) but I feel like you must only know a small amount of AOIIs. They're not an undesirable house.
