best jefferson house?

If there was a spot to build on, which house will raise the millions to build a new house?

Building new houses is not just based on myopic ranks. It's based on who has the funds, the numbers, and the support. Houses need to raise money for years before they can even apply to build on a new lot if one becomes available. They also need strong numbers within their houses, the university is more than willing to forgo a prospect if it doesn't look hopeful (you can see this with SDT when they had to downsize and relocate). Houses need to provide proof that they've had strong interest in previous years and that they've been able to maintain those numbers within the house. And then they need an extensive amount of alumni and national support. If a house doesn't have this then there's really no chance they'll get a new house. They need a strong national network to provide guidance and alumni who are willing to donate.

Delta Chi hands down

I have a lot of delta chi friends, I think they're an awesome house the guys are all really fun and their parties are awesome. They would've been the house to move to university instead of sig ep but there's something historic (idk the details) about their house and the alumni refuse to let them move or rebuild. they're still hands down my favorite Jefferson house, I'd go there for a good time before a lot of university houses too tbh

None of the Jefferson Houses are moving to University, as another poster stated it is not about popularity on who got to build a new house. The houses that have recently built on University have all the credentials the university wants to see in order to build. All the University fraternities have the size, alumni support, finances and consistent chapter sizes the university used on evaluating who got a prime spot.

Now that there is no more lots to build on University, the Jefferson houses only option is to level their houses and build new on their current locations or buy another Jefferson house and level that to build new.

Sadly, the Jefferson houses over time are going to fall in desirability and wouldn't be surprised of a couple shutdown from the lack of numbers.

DX and Kappa Sig are the best. Both have serious history and tradition on campus. They've had campus leaders, they're affiliated, win intramurals and party hard. Those 2 are better than some University houses by a mile (Beta, Phi Psi, Sig Ep, Phi Delt to name a few).

Delta chi is absolutely not the best.. have you ever been..?
