do sororities hang out with girls in other sororities

Hi! I am a transfer student to UA in the fall, already in a sorority and planning to re-affiliate. At my previous school, it was pretty common for girls to intermingle with other sororities, mainly within tiers, but your closest friends were in your own sorority. Is that how it is here at Bama? Or do girls almost exclusively hang out with the girls in their sorority?

Honestly I think it depends on the girl more than the house. Some girls hang out with exclusively girls in their own house (not usually in a cliquey way, just bc those are the people you spend the most time with). My friend group is about half girls in my house and then a mix of girls in other houses and gdi’s.
I would say the older you get the more diverse your friend group starts to be

All the time but friend groups tend to cluster with sorority sisters.
