why aren’t kkg, kd, pm and axo on panhell leadership?
by: Hmmm
Aren’t these supposed to be some of the top, involved, political houses? Hmmmmm. 🤔

^ No. Actually Panhellenic wanted to avoid a scandal being placed on their shoulders... Last year it was revealed that Alpha Chi had a pending lawsuit from a new member's parents. Panhellenic knew this and didn't want bad PR and also didn't want to have to have an Alpha Chi step down mid semester if the lawsuit got worse.

Despite what other people are saying, Panhellenic works really hard to be inclusive. The Machine has little to no influence over who's on the Executive Council. And frankly, making the claim that houses get positions based on Machine influence is literally the same exact thing as when people were making the claim that certain houses have good grades because they take easy majors.
It's just false. I know my NR house strongly encourages anyone who's remotely interested to apply for a position within Panhellenic. And the girl in my house who's on the Exec Council is actually extremely qualified so it's not surprising that she got the position.

There’s a lot more to relevancy than PanX. Yes it’s an amazing honor and opportunity, but there’s more to life. Girls from all three of those houses are still in SGA, Freshman Forum, etc. I don’t think Kappa even claims to be a super involved house, but yes Phi Mu and Alpha Chi do. That being said, they’re still very prominent houses on campus and you can’t honestly tell me AOPi is a more “relevant house” just because of PanX, unless that’s your only criteria.

Hearing you justify why your house isn't on the Panhellenic Executive Council because the "machine influences it" is the most hick thing I've ever heard.
Girls get positions on Exec based on merit. All of these girls have great grades, yes even the Zeta and APhi, and they have a handful of prior leadership experience under their belts... I know a handful of these girls were actually Rho Chis.
