^ There are two different types of instate girls. The first type is the "Old Row type." These girls are either legacies to OR houses and/or have in-house connections. These girls pledge the house their older friends pledge. It's a cycle. Like the person above said, these types of girls would never go NR. The second type of instate girl is basically all the other girls from the state of Alabama. They usually don't have in-house connections or if they do they're nothing that could pull them through rush entirely. Maybe they went to the same high school as the other type of instate girl but this type of girl was more reserved, probably not as popular. This is the type of girl the OP is probably referring to.

I was clarifying for anyone reading this thread.
These PNMs are generally pretty evenly dispersed among NR houses in all tiers, I haven't noticed any particular house with a majority of them.

If OP was referring to the second type of girl then why would she even mention alpha gam

Alpha gam gets a lot of left overs from top old row so is a lot like ADPi in that regard. Note, for those who are very conservative and very Baptist, AGD is in the top tier for them and so alpha gam gets a lot of those bc they don’t do well enough to be sought after by the tippy top unless hey are also an academic star, in which event everyone would want them except a couple of the fun houses

If I was deciding between Alpha Gam and ADPi I'd rank ADPi first. Alpha Gam is OR but that's really their only positive over ADPi. ADPi has a much better national reputation/rank, has more involved girls on campus and the members are much more well rounded.
