This Rank is going to be based on which houses are the most desirable in terms of the fact that they have to make the largest cuts.. aka hardest to get a bid to least

I like the General tiers because it gives PNMs more of a chance to find a house that fits them ya know

Do we judge and rank the strength of houses by PNM's impressions - people who have spent insignificant time in a house or by the actives' impressions.
We can all observe involvement, retention, and grades of houses which will give a picture of the houses with staying power and strength. Desirability is subjective and easily manipulated, especially for instate girls who have social pressure from home but also out of state who read this nonsense and listen to tent talk. Some of these are in a great place but others are completely off.
There is a mix of fake GR impressions and removed from the current campus climate tradition in these tiers. This is more of the same tired ranks to sway PNMs into desirable houses where they have a higher chance of dropping, falling behind academically, or being part of a cheating/lying house.

Well ranks certainly aren’t to be based solely on YOUR opinion
PNM interest is the best measure to create a good and valid rank. And the OP is a fair assessment of that.
We have seen your rank, and it is biased. Thats okay, we all have biases. But yours are not superior to any one else’s.
You favor a certain type of “placidness”. The oatmeal houses. Understood.
(Many) Others like a little more spice.
And this balances out as reflected by the OP.
Which does reflect MY bias. But I am wise enough to consider mine and others opinions.

To PNMs don’t be super upset if you get cut by any of the houses on the first row after IWTs. They have to make HUGE cuts. I’m in one of those houses and I want to say we go from around 2000 PNMS the first day to around 800 for Philanthropy. Some girls honestly do fall through the cracks
