You can but I feel like the girls view it as so try hard and they’re kinda like not as stylish as they use to be.

A plain well made, well cut, and well fitting dress is always a yes. If your Lilly fits this bill then it is great. There are some gorgeous navy and solid color Lilly dresses that are perfect and no one would know it is a LP.

If you are looking at a traditional Lilly bright pattern looking like middle age mom cruise wear then it is a strong NO.

This conversation cracks me up. I told my mom and she said she faced exactly the same dilemma (are Lilly's still in style for rush?) when she rushed at Bama in 1984.

A few girls may love your colorful Lily. A few are going to hate it.

Key to recruitment - avoid the controversy.

Agree with the comment if it's mostly solid, it could work, since they are well made and fitted.

But in general, the goal is to look good but not stir any negative responses - keep it simple, classic, and covered.

Very few girls get remembered for the outstanding good outfits.

More get remembered for the outstanding bad and the "tried too hard". \n\n\n\n\n

PNMs reread this and take note. Don't be remembered for the wrong things!

I'd say scale back on the dresses. Simple and classic as noted. No need to overspend.

But spend on a Hermes click H bracelet. A subtle appropriate accessory.

More subtle than Lily, but will be noticed where it needs to be.
