definitive word on house ranks

Copying this cause feel it "nailed it"....on the topic of ranks and that it matters only to a subset of MOMs......this is ALL that needs to be said.
And for the modern day MOMs of "The Help" there is one rank...
Would be impressed with AXO or Phi Mu.
Will be fine with XO, AGD, DDD, Kappa and (depending on the Mom) KD
Then there are just other houses.
Most MOMs (not in a regional social circle analogous to "The Help") just want their daughters to be happy and find their "fit".
And actives once initiated always prefer their own house to any other and will find friends in other houses based on individual merits, not house reputations.

Agree with both these comments. There are definitely some stuck-in-the-past and zip code oriented moms that are still stuck on the 4 houses #1 listed (AGD, DDD, KD and KKG) but most AL mom's would also be very happy with AXO, XO and PM.

Alabama moms most definitely are fine with their daughters pledging AXO, XO and Phi Mu.
And if they know their girls won’t make Old Row, they’ll also accept Zeta, Pi Phi and ADPi.
