KD was really snobby, talked to the other active more than me
LOVED Pi Phi, super personable girl and she made me feel really comfortable with the rush process (I didn’t go Pi Phi)
APhi I talked to couldn’t stop shaking and jittering
ADPi was the sweetest girl but she bid promised me the first day. Still loved them though
KKG was too cool for me (what I mean was the girls I had were so social and fun and I was more introverted) They were really nice and we laughed almost the entire conversation, but I could tell they were a very social house and I honestly didn’t feel like I was “fun enough” to be there. (I’m not a partier)
Phi Mu Same feeling of not being worthy except because the girls were all so pretty. I was in awe and felt out of place despite having a really sweet active to talk to. Didn’t feel like I was “pretty enough” and I thought it was a joke I was back
AXO seemed like every girl I went to high school with. (Small school). Nice, put together, but I wanted something different
Theta I actually loved because the girl was so bubbly and sweet we had a ton in common but I listened to ranks and ranked them low. Dumb I know
Chi O Despite being far OOS I had an awesome conversation and really liked the girls I talked to. I definitely was shocked when I got cut. They seemed more interested in me being from far away, whereas KD seemed put off
Tri Delt I had the dumbest girls here they were so nice but they asked me really obvious questions about my hometown (No, I didn’t go to West Bev from 90210)
Alpha Gam The girl I had spoke the entire time about Young Republican’s Club without asking me my political affiliation. I vote red but even I was like girl chill this is recruitment not Congress (in my head)
Zeta One girl asked me how Pike was where I’m from and asked me about frats. The other was super nice and normal but the Pike girl put me off.
That’s all I really remember

I was intimidated in Phi Mu and worried I wouldn’t be able to keep up
I was surprised how much I was ignored in KD
AXO made me feel really like even though I was cut they were nice and didn’t make it obvious
Kappa’s sport headband party seemed too try hard for me
Loved XO and found them really nice
Tri Delt was confusing as one day was great and the other I felt totally ignored
Pi Phi was great but I was bummed there was no house

i did no research before coming to rush. I'm the only girl from my HS to ever go to bama so I knew no gossip. and according to my notes this was my rank after IWT:

Liked: Gphi, ZTA, DG,AGD

Tried to drop: PM, Aphi, DZ, XO

I really liked the houses that seemed interested in me. Some obviously made an effort to match me with same major or activities I had been in. I had no pre-conceived notions about any houses and had extremely high grades.
Loved: AXO, XO, AOPi, AGD

Liked: DG, DDD, Zeta, Kappa, ADPi, Theta

Did not like: PM, Alpha Phi, KD, DZ, Pi Phi, Gamma Phi

I preffed one house I loved and 2 I liked. Be open minded! :)

In Phi Mu and Zeta I looked around and IMMIDIATELY knew I did not belong, the girls I talked to in both houses were nice but I didn’t want to be somewhere so Barbie looking and I def wasn’t their type look wise either
Loooved AXO, KD, XO, and ADPi
Really liked Theta and GPhi, they seemed the most down to earth without being boring to me
DG, APhi, KKG, Pi Phiwere fine but didn’t stand out to me
DDD and AGD were really cold and distant
Haaaated AOPi and DZ I was so bored and had such a hard time carrying a conversation and I couldn’t understand why they kept inviting me back

Loved pmu, tridelt, kappa from day one and preffed those three
Liked kd and axo but had a feeling it would not work and i was right
Thought axo and Agd was boring and not for me from before day one and was not disappointed
Surprised to like adpi and pbp from start and went far with them through sisterhood
Wanted to like zta and xo but could never connect personally
Never felt anything at or about aphi, theta, dz, gphi
Warmed to dg and aoii, they are under rated

Was OTM w moderate popularity in public hs.
