Tired of rankings posted by girls from Ohio and New Jersey? Here are the top houses for southern girls, ranked by a southern girl.

The only one of these that has campus involvement, High achievers and a clean reputation is XO.
Not starting an argument. Would truly like to know your criteria. It’s not hardest to get in bc these are not that either (except xo) and it’s not highest rush returns (actual desirability figures).

Not sure why you are leaving out DDD and AGD. They are just as strong as the others listed depending on the area you are talking about, and arguably stronger than XO. Truth is, in state and big city southern all depend on exactly where you are from.
There are girls from these cities in all the OR houses, and it varies year to year but my guesses for biggest numbers are:
New Orleans: KKG, KD
Charlotte: KD
Atlanta: KKG, DDD, KD
Mississippi: XO
Nashville: DDD
Memphis: XO
For in state, there are MANY girls from each big city in each OR house, but historically:
Mobile: KKG
MB: KD, KKG, DDD, AGD
Other Bham: all OR
Huntsville and North Alabama: KD, DDD and AGD
Montgomery: All OR

Just no and so out of date.
Not everyone from these states just wants to hang out from their friends from high school. There are people in every one of the states you listed in every single sorority on campus. If you had a list of the members of each of the OR sororities for the past 5 years, I think you would see a dramatic shift in every single one of them. This is 2018, not 1994.
I think the OP needs to put the wine down and put the kids to bed.

Maybe everyone doesn’t want to hang out with all the people they went to high school with! But, you know as well as I do that if girls from these areas don’t get/choose one of these sororities listed everyone from their town/area will think they had a bad rush or got cut from all the “good” sororities. ADMIT IT!

Not the OP and I’m curious on the criteria too but I would guess KKG has high return rates because they’re generally very friendly and fun during rush and don’t come off as distant towards OOS as KD and XO. They’re less polarizing than PM, but still more polarizing (bc of the party rep) than AXO. I’m not speaking to involvement or sisterhood or grades or anything else here, just that all three probably have decent return rates, and I’d guess KKG’s are the highest of the 3.
That being said, are those your top because these three are nationally stronger? (Although PM is decent to strong in all those states) Really jw the criteria
