does midwest oos have a chance at or?
by: pnmThere is a specific OR house with a philanthropy that is very important and personal for me, and its on my list of houses I think I could fit in at. I totally understand that I may change my mind during rush, and I'm completely open any house. I was just wondering if I should even keep hope that I could get into this OR house when I'm from the midwest, and have recs but no in-house connections (apart from a few actives that follow me on Insta lol)

Yes! I’m so sick of this site making girls think that certain houses like KD, XO and AGD only take girls from Alabama. I’m in one of those houses and we take girls from EVERYWHERE. Of course the majority are from the south, but we have girls from CA, NY, and everywhere in between.
Get you recs. Have a high GPA and an impressive resume. Make good conversations during recruitment and present yourself well and you ca get a bid from ANY house.

Yes!!! We honestly love to see girls with passion and excitement about philanthropy, especially if it’s genuine. If you have recs and a good resume, you’ll be on the same level as all other OOS pnms. I’ll admit that it will be harder because you don’t have connections, but I would just advise you to bring up your personal involvement with the philanthropy and see where it goes.
