pm and axo

The thing I like about AXO and PM is that they are both less elitist and less in state and big city southern focused than the other OR houses. They don't seem to care as much about zip code, county club or family name as KKG, DDD and KD do.

No matter where you are from, if you have good grades and are involved and put together, you have a shot at AXO. If you are pretty and put together, you have a shot at PM. Both houses have their own issues, but they are the two old row houses that aren't quite as hung up on tradition, so to an OOS pnm at least, they are a little more assessable.

To me the main difference is AXO is more achievement girls and pmu is more socially oriented

Far OOS and found KKG the most receptive then DDD

It's all about a specific look for PM. Very "done"

AXO: Wholesome, smart, involved. Girl next door type. AXO would rather choose a girl who's really smart over really pretty. Very clean reputation.

PM: Pretty, social, involved. Popular cheerleader type. PM would rather choose a girl who's really pretty with decent grades over a super smart average looking girls. Decent reputation, an iffy sisterhood hurts them.

Both are top houses in my opinion but neither are THE top. I think if there was a house that combined AXO's dedication to academic achievement and involvement and PM's social status and appearance then you'd have an indisputable top house.

The Top PNMs that go Alpha Chi and Phi Mu are basically the same. Beautiful cheerleader, student government, involved, popular types. The difference I see between the two is that besides the top PNMs, alpha chis pledge class leans more on the super involved / smart side and Phi Mus leans more on the pretty pagent girl side

AXO doesn't care about being seen with OR frats as much as Phi Mu does. Alpha Chi overall is not that exciting of a group and have a different vibe in things from style, dry attitudes, not as friendly.
