Swaps: Themed parties between one sorority and one fraternity on Thursday nights hosted at the fraternity's house. One members of the sorority and fraternity are allowed to go.
Date parties: Themed parties hosted by either one sorority or one fraternity at a venue. Only members of the sorority/fraternity and their guests are allowed to go. Almost all date parties limit their members to one guest each.
Other weekend parties/darties hosted by fraternities are open to anyone.

Low key yeah you can bring gdis to swaps. You're not supposed to bring anybody but I went to different sorority's swaps and girls in other houses/GDIs showed up at mine. It's not technically allowed but especially after the first couple weeks nobody is paying attention/nobody cares. Be careful tho cause I think if something happens houses are held liable

Whether the OP is a troll or not, this is something worth mentioning to all PNMs:
DO NOT bring girls who are not in your sorority to swaps. It's not fair and it's a HUGE liability for both the sorority and fraternity. Not only is your friend not paying for said events but if ANYTHING happens to her then it becomes a massive liability... And the thing is, nothing major has to happen to you friend. For example, if your friend sneaks in, drinks too much, and passes out or has to have her stomach pumped and her parents find out they can sue the sorority and fraternity if they wanted to and honestly they'd probably win.

If this is the same person who created another thread asking if she can bring her gdi friend to study hours I just want to give you a piece of advice. You're joining a sorority, not for the label, but for the sisterhood. If your gdi friend is not in a sorority do NOT constantly bring her around. Yes it's okay to have gdi friends and go to the bars, band parties, and tailgates with them but you need to do your own thing with the organization that you're paying almost 8k a year for. It's your college experience not your friends. She's grown she can handle herself and figure out her own way
