fraternity rush

I was at Bama Bound a couple weeks back and met with a couple NR fraternities. Was impressed by some, others not so much. I was wondering how are SigEp, PhiPsi and Phi kappa? Curious if those would be above the houses on Jefferson or not.
Also, will fraternities still hand out bids during rush week? A couple rush chairs never returned my requests and wondering if I should continue to pursue a bid.

1. sig ep has top grades and has for a while. so they're definitely a house thats good on paper. prior to their move to univ they were known as "a poor mans ATO" which is a good thing, ATO is a very achieving house and at the time sig ep was on jefferson so their dues were cheaper. sig ep is pretty popular among girls from both old row and new row.
2. phi psi is split, people either love them or hate them. personally i don't think theres anything wrong with them and i actually kind of like them. keep in mind, phi psi also moved to univ blvd i think 3 or 4 years ago? I'm a sophomore so i never got to see what they were like before the move however people said they weren't the best and those same people like to make a point that just because they're on univ doesnt mean they're good. they tend to hang out with more new row girls however i do see some groupies from a few old row houses stick around with them a lot.
3. phi kap? or pi kap? two VERY different houses. phi kap has a tiny house off of jefferson, they're basically a small step up from an off campus frat but overall weird guys in my opinion and tend to only get attention from girls in lower ranked and smaller sororities. pi kap is good though, they're sort of like a more tame version of pike. they tend to hang out with more new row girls.

Correcting myself their original house location was on the corner of University and Campus drive across where the DKE house now sits. It was moved across the street (picked up the house and moved it) to make room for campus building expansion in the 90's. They since moved to the other side of campus along with Phi Delt to make room for the expanded Stadium Plaza.

Phi Psi's previous house was on University since the early 90's, they were right in front of the stadium next to Phi Delt. That house was literally move from across street on University as it was where the current education library building sits, so they have been on University since the early 60's.
