zta materialistic

by: Guest

is it just me or does ZTA seem sooooo materialistic (like worse than phi mu). obviously most sororities are but i swear there is a zta uniform that includes hermes/cartier bracelets and gucci belts....are they even real?

i dont mean to hate on zta, but i want to know if other people have noticed this too.

Phi Mu is worse about this than Zeta is.

I’d still rather be a Zeta than a Phi Mu any day.

Phi Mu is definitely materialistic, I mean you can just tell by looking at their house and when you actually go in their house it's even more evident. And although Phi Mu does care about appearances they also care about grades, reputation, involvement, etc while Zeta doesn't and I think that's what significantly differentiates the two and what ultimately keeps Phi Mu top and Zeta mid. Love them or hate them, but there are a lot of Phi Mu's who are extremely outgoing and involved, can't say the same for Zeta.

come on... look at ALL the houses. they're all huge and i bet every single one has a chandelier and a grand staircase. they're just all white because nationals tell them to. every house here is just as nice as phi mus lol

personally i find the all white to be tacky

Phi Mu's chandelier in their entryway is vintage and from the Waldorf Astoria. All the articles about the PM house mention it.

they're not talking about the actual physical houses themselves. they're talking about the personalities of the girls

I love this comment! Grand staircases and chandeliers. The perfect example that all the houses/chapters are so similar here. I don’t care if one chandelier is from a fancy hotel or Wayfair.

PNMs: Focus on finding friends/sisters that want to spend time with you.

i don’t disagree but how did you manage to overlook all of the kappas and kd’s whom also only wear hermès bracelets & belts, along with gucci ones.. a lot of people in sororities here have extravagant things. It quite bias to only say certain houses care about these things

Based on what houses look for during rush. Not saying appearance is everything but it sure is important for some houses.

KD and KKG take their friends.... Friends who happen to be wealthy.

PM takes generally well rounded girls who also look the part. AXO and PM are both top houses, what separates the two is that AXO is mainly interested in grades, involvement, and reputation of the girls they take... PM is like that but they also care about what their girls look like.

ZTA likes girls who look good on insta.

Honey it's alabama all the girls wear high end stuff like Hermes bracelets and Gucci belts. It's college and people come from different classes. While ZTA might over due it with the fakeness of their products they are just trying to fit in with everyone
