sophomore rush?

by: help

Is it even worth it to rush as a Sophomore, especially if I already rushed last year? I have good grades and I was slightly involved this year but I just don't want to waste time, money and energy on getting recommendations and outfits and preparing of rush if I don't have a good chance at rushing!! Please help I'm really contemplating this and I need to decide before the price to register goes up in the next couple of days!

Also I forgot to add that there are only about 6 or 7 houses that I'd be super interested in joining and excited about since I've been here a whole year already and observed the houses and the girls that are in them. Thats no hate on the other houses at all it's just that I know the vibe of the houses and theres only about 7 that I would be willing to pay that much money to be a part of because I don't want to join anywhere that I'm not totally comfortable with and in love with.

Nobody can tell you your chances at your pre-selected 7, but you have zero chance if you don't rush. You didn't say why you didn't join last year, maybe you didn't like who you were left with, and it may be the same houses again for you this year, except this year you will be considered within the upper classmen quota and not with the freshmen, so there's that in your favor. Also nobody's making you join anywhere you don't want so you can drop before going to pref if you don't like your choices.

I'd say you need to be the perfect PNM to successfully rush as a Sophomore and get your top house
