obsession with fraternity status

I’m in a small fraternity and I notice that girls, mostly freshmen, lose interest in me once I tell them that I’m in an off campus fraternity. Like I’m sorry, My great grandparents didn’t own a plantation. Ex. I took a girl(old row sorority) that I’ve known since high school to a date party ditched me and went to KA. So Girls value letters than personalities?
