aphi scandal!!?
by: PnmDoes anyone even want to go aphi after all their problems this year? Honestly just curious

I mean if I get to rush and I connect with the girls there, then yes I would want to join. I'm more interested in how I personally relate to the house and how I feel while I'm there rather than scandals that, while they are concerning, don't ultimately decide where girls belong

i don’t think a past scandal is really going to affect my decision in the end. i’m also hoping for a house with higher grades, but i wouldn’t drop if i ended up with alpha phi on bid day. i just don’t think you can judge a house of 400 girls based on one bad apple. it’s all about where you fit best :)

Thing is that if this were one isolated incident what y'all are saying would be perfectly true. Problem with that logic in the case of this house is a pattern of scandals and embarrassing behaviors. Add to that horrible grades, poor involvement and complacency about QRs and you have a house that is in crisis. Every girl that is in the house bears some responsibility for continuing to contribute to the downfall of the house by their words, behaviors, actions, or inactions. PNMs would be much better served to drop and look towards SK or rerushing sophomore year if they are left with Aphi.

The APhi scandal is a shame, those involved have been punished and those that remain are going to have to move forward in some way.
Will be curious what direction APhi moves.
Will they continue with the insta famous grade risks?
If they try to “change”, not sure who will want to take the risk.
Recruitment is going to be tough on them. Predict GPhi benefits the most.
