It will take a decade at least to get off the bottom three or so

Alpha Phi and DG are both new within the last 10 years, they are at best lower-mid houses, but they are not the dead last choice for most NR girls. It depends on what direction SK goes, but even if they aren’t amazing I think they have a decent shot of not being the very bottom house within a few years.
To start off I assume they will be bottom until they develop an identity, and that will decide where they go

there are so many girls coming through rush every year that even a new house at the very bottom would get some quality pnm's. remember a bottom tier sorority here is equivalent to a middle to upper-middle chapter at most other schools.

YES bottom does not mean bad. There are houses that are bad fits for girls, and for a lot of girls the “top” houses would be a terrible fit and they’d be miserable there and “bottom” houses are the perfect home filled with lifelong best friends
Anyone’s college experience will be infinitely better in a “bottom” house they love than being able to say they’re in a “top” house but never finding a home there.

Every house has about 400 women, so all are going to have a wide variety no matter what "type" house they say they are. Someone's best friend who gets in a top house could be incredibly mean, or a top PNM might be a legacy to a bottom house and just really want the same sorority as her family. With that many in each house, all are diverse and all are really pretty much the same and offer well planned and similar social experiences. Its all good at Bama! There is no bottom house.

At Alabama, the tiers are set by unwritten law in concrete.
Nothing ever changes.
Nothing. EVER. Changes.
It's tradition!

Spoken by an elderly alumna who fervently wishes this were a true statement.
