True. Of the NR zeta and APhi are able to make some appearance at the old row frat events and not be totally out of place — but not many or most of them for sure

I get what the OP is saying. if you end up in a NR house there is a much smaller chance you’ll be at big events like Ship Wrecked or Old South. If you get lucky you’ll definitely be a miniority

OR parties are not better than NR parties and visa-versa. A party is a party.

OR girl, OOS but still southern, and I prefer the NR frats to the OR ones for the most part anyway...At least NR guys walk around y’all to lots of girls, OR ones pretty much talk to their high school cliques, especially at DKE, SAE, KA,

So OP tells herself, and others here, that her sorority made all the difference for these dates and parties. If you think certain sorority letters are whats important to get you invited to these, then you probably will never get either. With around 400 member in each sorority, there are thousands of NR women and thousands of OR women. Sororities are too diverse for OR/NR to make any kind of impact. Just more GR BS spread by insecure women who need to feel superior to other women.

I'm in a new row house and as a freshman have been to multiple OR fraternity date parties and a formal. Many of my other sisters were there too..OR doesn't get you an invite, its about the girl herself! Basically any genuine guy would rather take a NR girl whose smart, fun, and pretty over a girl in an OR house just because shes OR. Don't believe stuff like this PNMs go wherever you feel at home :)

Y’all the OP isnt wrong though?? there aren’t Zetas or Pi Phis at DKE , KA, Snu, Phi Gam etc.. those are the big date parties girls look forward to. Maybe a few NR sorority girls are there but def not the majority

OMG. If you think not going to an old row party means you are "being held back," then I promise you, you are doing life wrong.
