it's not that gphi has moved up that much (although they have a little in the past few years) but the houses below them have moved down, aphi and dg had a lot of issues this year that are likely to affect their fall rush, the other three were always below gphi

I think GPhi has improved, especially the past two years, and I also agree that APhi and DG have fallen. Other than Zeta and Pi Phi which are clearly higher ranked, I only see ADPi as higher than GPhi in NR houses. DG, APhi, DZ, AOPi and Theta are behind them. I predict NR rush 2018 will break out as follows:
Pi Phi (new house will help) and Zeta
ADPi and GPhi
APhi and DG
AOPi and DZ
Theta (old house will hurt them again)

Not so sure the old house will hurt theta as much as everyone here seems to think. This has been the case while they were still in their original house but now that it's gone I think they will do well. My house put on a great rush out of the stadium and had awesome return rates and a stellar pledge class. Remember, PNMs won't live in the house and by their sophomore year they will be opening the new house. It is exciting to be the first class in a brand new house.
