by: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Why is Phi Mu such a high ranked house? Sure, they’re pretty and they live in the big White House, but what else makes them special besides that? As far as houses with a strong sisterhood and active philanthropy go, there are plenty that have them beat, including “bottom tier” houses. The ranking system is arbitrary and is based on what guys want in a house/in girls rather than the achievements and accomplishments of the girls within them.

If you were to break rankings down into categories like reputation, grades, looks, social lives, they would rank like 3-6 in each category, most other houses would have a weak point, even AXO (social lives), I think that's why they're at the top. Most other high ranking OR houses have a weak spot, phi mu really doesn't, even though they're not really the best at one specific thing either.

The ones I know have great social lives. They just don't sleep with every guy.

i’m not in a house of girls that sleeps around, im just a decent person who doesn’t judge others. you’re literally shaming girls for personal decisions that are NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. it’s their life, not yours?? you’re literally saying it’s ok to tell a girl she’s less than someone else bc of her choices and that’s REALLY really sad.

They are on top because they are diverse and balanced. Not top in anything but strong across board. I think they won greek excellence this year and whatnot

what about being nice and genuine?
there are OBVIOUSLY exceptions in a chapter of 400+ girls but in my experience as an in-state person, PM seems to be where a lot of the petty, fake girls end up and then act like they didn't know you in high school if they see you at a party. they might be physically attractive and they're solid in grades and involvement but they also seem to attract some clique-y girls. i just think it's weird that KD and AGD get so much flack for taking "mean" friend groups but PM doesn't.

never really heard or noticed that about AGD, but KD is very cliquey. All sororities have cliques, you're never gonna be friends with 400+ girls, but PM isn't really any cliquey-er than others

AXO generally pulls cute girls that are socially introverted. There is the cheer exception but even those are the nerdy cheer types. They ran off their more social girls because of the haircut thing. They have like maybe a dozen true total package girls
