After nationals came in an purged the APhi chapter, I’m assuming they will need a PC with better grades and less PR problems to appease the school and internationals. So this means the girls who are hot west coast/ northeast girls with TERRIBLE GPAs might not be end up in APhi like they typically do. Will SK be picking up the hotties who get dropped from everywhere because of their GPA?
I’m curious if they’ll take APhi’s strategy of hot girls who couldn’t get a bid anywhere because of their gpa/ reputation (which has obviously backfired after less than 10 years on campus) or take more of a DG approach of very average girls who didn’t want to pledge the very bottom houses so they dropped out of rush.

True that. Also, they are sticking at auburn and doing pretty well. So they are learning what it takes to compete and stay relevant. Time will tell if they can stick this time but I like their odds IF greek life stays strong at Bama and enrollment continues to grow— both of which are the expectation

The last time they were on campus, they voted to close due to internal issues. They weren't a top house, but they weren't terrible either. They weren't on warning for low numbers or anything like that.

APhi has a national reputation of being hot and not so bright though. SK has barely a national reputation at all and it’s not known for being very concerned about looks. Most colonizing chapters usually go for girls with solid GPAs first and go after girls who would not otherwise be in a sorority.
I can see the ex-APhi types being picked up by DZ though. They have sort of the same reputation but not strong in the North.
