The same reasons they transfer from literally every big college across the country.

Lots of people who squeaked through high school and failed classes after they showed up to college without the ability to manage themselves. Lots of people from far OOS who got too homesick or didn’t feel at home in the south

Bama is just a weird school honestly, to me and a lot of other people I know down here it just doesn't feel like home. Maybe its cause I'm OOS but at this point I just can't wait to go home for 3 and a half months.

A lot of girls who were popular in high school think that when they come to Alabama it will be the same for them, but then they get here and realize that they’re just one in a crowd of many.

Im transferring after sophomore year due to money. Alabama is super expensive.Theres to many northerners here too. They rude af

literally somehow everyone i talked to this year or am friends with or have been friends with are all transferred or have already. alabama is honestly a scam and not worth the hype. the academics are not nearly as good as they should be for the tuition we pay. greek life controls the entire school even more than football does. racism is rampant. the machine is everywhere. go somewhere else for your own sake even the scholarship money doesn’t make it worth it.

Alabama is a polarizing school, you either love it or hate and that goes for both Greeks and gdis. But even with the scholarship money I can’t imagine coming here from out of state and not going Greek
