houses that surprised you

I thought I would love PM and APhi going into recruitment. I really didn’t once I met them. Pleasantly surprised by DDD and GPhi. Kappa was really fun too but I knew I didn’t stand a chance being OOR.

I was so disappointed by alpha chi during rush. I was pleasant surprised by adpi and tri delt.

Was surprised by AXO, I thought they’d be really uptight or something and I’m from the west coast so I didn’t expect to click with many OR houses but I LOVED them during rush

Thought I would love aphi but dropped them first round. Also thought I would love alpha chi but they slightly bored me.

For me Kappa, Pi Phi and ADPi were good surprises. But now that I am an active, I can’t see myself at ADPi or Pi Phi and have realized how in state dominated and cliquey kappa is, even though they do have a lot of outside state girls—they are not “in”. Ended up a different houses but these were my pleasant surprise in recruitment. I am PC17

I was pleasantly surprised by GPhi and Theta during rush. The girls were very pretty but more importantly, super friendly and down-to-earth. I would have been very happy with either of those houses if I hadn't wound up in my house.

I was not pleasantly surprised by Chi O. They gave me a really weird vibe, idk how to explain it, but I just absolutely could not picture myself there. And I was not a fan of KD - too superficial.

I love my current house, but during recruitment I was also surprised by Theta, probably because I spent too much time on GR and went in thinking they would be the worst. I also liked AGD and Tri-delt. For me, the people I met made all the difference. At my house and these three, I was matched up with very friendly girls, and left loving each one.
