Have y’all noticed ~certain houses commenting on so many PNMs pictures? I know it’s a bama thing but some of these houses are taking it way too far to the point that one of my friends coming here next year told me it’s freaking her out a little bit...

the "top" sororities tend to start recruiting girls now. if she's actually weirded out by it then maybe she chose the wrong school? God forbid a sorority try to show their interest in PNM's?

Top PNMs will have close to a hundred actives commenting on their posts over the spring and summer. It gets pretty excessive. There is a kappa freshman who had 150+ comments on every single photo last summer

I mean you recognize a lot of the names. Plus when a pnm has maybe 20 comments in the fall, jumps to 150 in the spring, then back down to 20 in the summer it’s pretty obvious who it is

1. The commenting started a way back in the fall, and will have to stop after May 1 as it is no contact
2. It isn’t desperation.. it is showing interest in a PNM and making them know they’re liked by a certain house. Also, if a house is commenting on every single PNM you know pictures, it is because they want everyone to feel loved so the house can maintain authority over cutting girls

High school girls love the attention and if you think expressions like comments or likes are all the top houses do to win favor you are not involved in the process- snap chat, face time, house tours, lunches, all sorts of tools are used- it is how the top get the top pnms. They hustle for it. And they are all desperate to get the top pnms. It is like a pride and competition thing

The best recruitment houses have first years watching almost every account for pnms on their radar and commenting on posts. The more comments, the more important you are to them (is the message being sent in this little way of showing love). Y’all, this is way more organized and intense than you probably anticipate.

It is a show of interest and flattering to the pnm. It is part of the dance. If you are surprised by it, you either don’t go here, did not go here, or are a troll.
