where are the parties
by: confusedwhy does this school kinda suck?? why are there never parties at frats on weeknights like the start of year with pledge parties and stuff? it's not like there's a huge bar scene here so what gives? i thought this place was supposed to be lit 24/7 and there's barely anything to do unless you constantly get invited to date parties

Yep the school has cracked down super hard on fraternity parties. You can only register parties Thursday- Saturday and it's super expensive. If you break any of the rules you get future parties suspended too. Completely different than two years ago when fraternities could do whatever

Huge crackdown on parties. The administration is terrified of something as big as LSU or FSU happening here and making big news. TERRIFIED. there was recently a meeting with a bunch of sorority presidents and a few frat presidents (national presidents) in an attempt to get nationals to crack down even harder (which they won’t)
