greek week

Can someone please explain to me what happens during greek week? I know its kinda like homecoming without pomping but thats all ive heard

We all line up and sing the Greek alphabet song together and swim in Greek yogurt.

It suppose to be about brotherhood/sisterhood of all greeks, but what really happens:
Sorority A gets mad they not teamed up with their fav fraternity.
Sorority B is pissed because one of the fraternities they are teamed up with is a complete no-show (typically an old row fraternity house).
Fraternity C is pissed because they girls from their teamed sorority are not attractive.
The upper class of all fraternities and sororities are like whatever, have better things to do.
Some sorority will be declared a winner and get called out for cheating.
