They’re looking for girls who fit them just like the other sorority’s. If they think you wouldn’t fit in, if you have bad grades, if you don’t seem interested when meeting them, it’s possible they won’t extend a bid. I believe that their numbers are rising and they can focus more on quality than in the past, so it really just depends!

Crazy? That's cool.
Big? Cool.
Non-traditional student? Cool.

They just appeal to a different crowd. Perhaps an incredibly selfish girl wouldn't get a bid? Good for them.

To the OP, the girls are not crazy so ignore any rude comments. They have members that could have found homes in many other organizations, they just chose to run home to SDT.

It wouldn’t take a lot to not be offered a bid. If you don’t have the GPA they’ll automatically drop you. If you present yourself poorly they’ll automatically drop you. If you don’t seem interested in them they’ll automatically drop you.

Example scenario: PNM A walks in and talks to an Active. This Active senses this girl will not mesh well in their organization. She tells the chapter as such, and no bid is extended. Just like formal it’s based on the opinions of the actives you get to speak to, which can be unfair at times but that’s just how it goes.

Since they do recruitment separately, they shouldn't really encounter many girls who aren't interested, because they have to choose to go to the recruitment events, right?

Do they do all the other stuff that the other sororities do? Swaps, tailgates date parties, etc?
