What chapters take into consideration your income bracket? Like are there picky sororities who will take girls with more money than others?

Yes, this is the actual truth. PNM's need to look polished and put together. You don't have to spend a lot to do that, just have a sense of style and what looks good on you. The trolls and anti-sorority people on here just love to put crap on here. "Sororities can tell" and stuff like that is just ridiculous. You will understand when you are on the other side of recruitment as an active. Just bring your best you and only worry about money as far as if you can pay your dues for four years.

Look put together and DO NOT bring up anything that makes it sound like you're even slightly concerned about paying dues. What you might think is an offhand remark about dues might be interpreted as something more serious by an active because we are on the lookout for signs a girl won't be able to pay.
It's not because we're all snooty and stuck up, its because if I girl joins and can't pay and drops after a few months/ a year then we basically just wasted a bid on her that could have been given to someone who would stay all four years.
