Kd gets so much hate on this site but they are basically the exact same sorority as kappa. I don’t think anything differentiates them fr, except for the fact that kappa recruits more OOS girls and kd has better grades/better involvement.
Nothing wrong with either house, I just always consider them on the same playing field as one another and would rank them side by side, close to the top.

Kd and Kappa and tridelt are all basically the same, just different cultures. All three are a just a hair higher than Chi O and are a notch down from AXO and PM, just because of depth of class quality. AGD has slipped substantially in last few years and now is about the same Saas the top new row houses like Zeta and ADPi, but they are just more “southern” and have the Christian vibe, which is very important to many pnms. PBP is likely to get back into the conversation with Zeta at the top of new row and it will be very interesting to see if they can get back to where they were like four or five years ago (they have really fallen with the last few classes). Again — for all houses the top of their pledge classes and the girls we all see around campus a lot are one thing. What makes the difference for houses are the “rank and file”. How deep does a house’s PC go and keep that top quality? That is the difference. To me, you are only as good as your bottom 10 percent, rather than your top 10 percent.

I somewhat agree, the closest houses I would compare Tri delt to are kd and kappa, but they are kind of one of those houses I would say differ from most houses.
They are very mixed bag and rush different girls than kd and kappa do. Tri delt puts a big focus on southern OOS girls from TN, Kentucky, etc.
Really good house and similar laid back feel but I put kd and kappa in their own category.

Tri delts are not quite as big of partiers as kappa and kd, and they have better grades. But all three houses attract the same type of PNM. Like the rest of OR, they have a big in state contingent, but I agree that tri delt is more open to OOS PNMs that they think could be good fits.
