debating rushing as a sophomore
by: soph pnm
I'm a freshman here right now and so far my GPA is a 4.2 and I don't expect that to change this semester.
I'm OOS (midwest) and am not close friends with really any girls in greek life, but I know a few and feel like we could be close if we had more stuff to do together.
So should I rush next year?
If so, as an oos sophomore without connections, but with a strong GPA, what houses would drop me automatically?
I'm also a nursing major, if that matters at all

Being a nursing major with a high GPA will get you put in bump groups with other out of state sophomore nursing majors to talk to and feel comfortable around. The fact that you’ve done well your freshman year will make every house take a second look at you. If you get your recs in to every house and present yourself well, you should have a really positive recruitment experience. Get started now on those recs and we look forward to meeting you in person in August!
