no friends in sorority :(

so i rushed this year as a transfer soph and it has been really hard makking friends. i have a few in my sorority but only a few and were not super tight, i dont live a dorm either. basically can u tell me when you guys started to meet your best friends in your sorority, like did it take time???

It took me until the very end of my first semester to make a few friends in my sorority and it wasn't until the end of the second semester that we became a solid group and I felt like I really "belonged" in my house/when my sisters would hang out as a large group. Once we got new members and I got a little it became even better because none of those girls had first impressions of me. Give it time!!!!

Just wait till you are all together for the week of recruitment workshop. Also, eat at the house and keep open to new interactions. I have picked up different in-house friendships each year.

I had friends my first year in my house, but I didn’t meet my best friends until the start of sophomore year. In houses this big it can take time to find your people
