Do you know every single girl in each of the houses that you listed? No. So don't go assuming that they all are like what you "think" that they are like.

It oftentimes is that kinda "alpha girl/it girl" personality or whatever you want to refer to it as... Not saying that is a bad thing or that other houses lack girls like that, but those listed houses just often have the girls that are more prominent (which is a reason they are viewed as top) because of that personality type.

Super high rush return rates don’t hurt either.... A lot of being “top” is being able to be super selective because lots of PNMs want you. KD is super popular w AL girls, Bama Phi Mu is famous, and Kappa is known for putting on a really good rush. They can afford to be selective and still get the PNMS they want (not saying there are never random legacies because w PCs this big EVERY house has some), but they do very well in recruitment.

So while some other houses may have say, better sisterhoods, they don’t do as well in recruitment. I’d like to think my house has a better sisterhood (though it’s hard to judge chapters this big), and we also have better grades, but being completely honest our return rates, though not bad by any means, aren’t as impressive as those houses’.
I’m in a NR house, but a ton of my friends are in two of the mentioned houses.

Bama Phi Mu is not famous. Lol.

I think it’s time to redo the ranks based on what people on campus think of each house instead of based on who gets ahandful of supposed top PNMs. The girls that KD goes after are girls that other houses wouldn’t want in a million years. It’s so subjective.
