What is the “Old Row Stench”?, what is the cause?, poor hygiene? Or is it the effects of inbreeding?

Old row houses are obviously some of the most desirable on campus ( not all but most— not saying this to be pretentious, don’t hate ) so they have BIG cuts they have to make especially after the first couple rounds. It really is crucial that you have people pulling for you in the house

If you are from Alabama or neighboring states, you pretty much need to already have connections in house before recruitment starts and have somebody or a group pulling for you (for the top Old Row houses, at least). If you are from out of the region, they you definitely need to either be connected to important people to the University, be a strong total package person with a great personality, or have other connections that get you on the radar early (like around now).
